And it’s Sew Fahunseh, CUV’s are in vogue right now dontcha know. I have this for at least the rest of the day if not the rest of the weekend, and I’ll try and get more pics later. So have a question about an F-Pace? Ask away and I’ll try and get ya answer.
My initial thoughts are this really should not be optioned with the 2.0d, it shares many similarities with our 2010 Jetta TDI when it comes to the engine’s sound and performance. It’s slow, almost dangerously, especially in Eco mode. Turbo lag is considerable. This is a fairly basic model, but still has the full glass roof, a good tech package and reasonably comfortable seats (at least in the front) Ride is good, stiff but not back breaking, it eats the rough NoVa roads well. Steering response is good, throttle response is sucks. I suspect that’s more fault of the turbo lag than anything else.
Here are the stats:
MY: 2017
Mileage: 3800
Drive: AWD, bias to the rear
Engine: 2.0L Turbo Diesel (Yes, a Jaguar Diesel!)
(179hp @ 4000rpm, 317ft.lb @ 2500rpm
Transmission: 6 Speed ZF
Color: Boring
I’ll update later with more pics.

The awesome 7 seater 2017 Mazda CX9 starts off at $10,000 less than the base diesel F-Pace. From what you can tell, what about the F-Pace gives it the higher initial price?

Dangerously slow? It’s probably not even in the bottom 25% of passenger vehicles speed wise. Dangerously slow is an old Chevette with a badly tuned carb.

Have you seen a CX-9 in person? It looks like Mazda gave it multiple lip injections, with the car having an allergic reaction to each of them.

Looks awesome to me. Elegant and classy. Huge jump from previous design. That interior is radness. To each his own I guess :]
